What is CBTm?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy - Mindfulness (also referred to as CBTm) is a course designed to cultivate mindful awareness of our body, emotions and mind so that we can live our lives with a greater sense of wellbeing, kindness and resilience.

It has two main intentions: to offer you some skills to meet life’s challenges and difficulties, both internal and external; as well as skills to develop more awareness and appreciation of the pleasant moments in life that we can often overlook. In other words, to respond more skillfully to all of life’s inevitable ups and downs.

Is this course right for me?
Yes, if you are struggling with anxiety and/or mood symptoms
Yes, if you are experiencing a negative impact in your life due to their mental health
Yes, if you are wanting to learn new skills to help manage your own well-being
Yes, if you are a parent or caregiver wanting to build skills to better support your children’s mental health and wellbeing

Hi, I'm Renata, a Registered Psychotherapist & Coach dedicated to addressing the symptoms of stress, anxiety, and trauma-triggered experiences. Drawing on my background in meditation and mindfulness, I've seized audaciously bold opportunities, such as a life changing 10-day silent meditation retreat and visits to historically or spiritually grounding places in the world. My focus is on identifying and shifting thought patterns rooted in limiting beliefs or unprocessed life events that now impact our everyday life. Embracing the transformative elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I've made it my primary approach and technique when working with clients. A quote by Dr. Wayne Dyer, "When you change how you look at things, the things you look at change," has been a guiding principle in my life and practice.

I maintain a successful private practice, working with clients both in person and virtually, providing a supportive space for positive transformation and a shift in perspective toward a more fulfilling life.

Hi, I'm Sheila. I am a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in stress, anxiety and trauma. I have years of meditation experience, completing Meditation Instructor training under the Master teaching of Luangphor Viriyang Sirintharo of Thailand through the Willpower Institute and has participated in a daring opportunity of a 10-day silent meditation retreat.

By identifying your strengths and helping you to maximize them to overcome and address your obstacles, we will sort through the things that are difficult, and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgement.

My primary focus is now working with clients in facilitating positive change, by altering thought patterns, changing non-beneficial belief systems, embracing compassion and reducing the impact of stress in your life. I maintain a successful private practice seeing clients both in person and virtually.
