MEET SOCIAL WORK INTERN

Julia Magliaro

BSW, MSW (IN PROGRESS)  INTERN

Hello and welcome!
I'm Julia, a dedicated social work intern actively pursuing my Master of Social Work. Drawing upon more than two decades of experience in the social service sector, my mission is to provide compassionate support and empower individuals through life's challenges.

My career has been shaped by working with diverse populations, addressing issues such as addiction, family breakdowns, and the unique challenges faced by young parents, children, adolescents, and seniors within the LGBT+ community. This rich background has honed my skills in tailoring support to meet the specific needs of individuals navigating various life stages and circumstances.

Currently committed to staying at the forefront of therapeutic practices, my ongoing education ensures that I can offer holistic and evidence-based support. This commitment allows me to provide personalized care to each individual on their unique healing journey.

In my counselling practice, I prioritize empathy, collaboration, and a client-centered philosophy. I create a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can explore their thoughts and emotions. Through active listening and collaboration, we work together to unlock their potential for positive change and personal growth.

Specializing in supporting individuals dealing with addiction, family dynamics, and the distinctive needs of young parents, I also maintain an inclusive practice that embraces and uplifts the voices of the LGBT+ community. This includes a focused approach to children, adolescents, and seniors within this community.
Embark on your journey towards wellness by scheduling a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation. This allows us to connect, discuss your unique needs, and determine if we are the right fit to achieve your therapeutic goals.

Thank you for considering me as a partner in your healing journey. Your well-being is my priority, and I look forward to accompanying you on the path to positive change.
